Iran, world box office last weekend: Part 10

David Gordon Green’s ‘The Exorcist: Believer’ has secured the top slot on Dubai box office.

The horror film as the sixth installment in ‘The Exorcist’ franchise has sold 28,886 passes in its first week of screening to become the bestselling movie of the week on October 13-15.

Kevin Greutert’s ‘Saw X’ came second after Green’s movie on the list in its second week of screening. This week the horror thriller attracted 12,528 spectators to the theaters.

The third best-selling movie of the week was an animation titled ‘Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie’. The movie managed to sell 11,757 tickets to moviegoers in the UAE.

During the mentioned period, the Bollywood movie ‘Jawan’ lost its place and moved to the seventh slot on the box office. Yet, it maintained the first rank of this year's bestsellers with 685,072 passes sold.

During the 41st week of 2023, the Indian film succeeded to only attract 6,712 cinema goers to the theater halls in Dubai.
